HR MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Lake County Schools Human Resource Services Department is to provide an atmosphere of cooperative coordination, and facilitation for all schools, departments, and the general public while implementing official human resource methods for the upkeep, retention, and recruitment of people to enhance the goals of the district.

Lake County is located in beautiful central Florida and is named after its many lakes. Lake County is located an hour north of Orlando, Disney World, Universal Studios and two hours away from the Gulf or Atlantic Coast. However, Lake County maintains its "down home feel". Lake County School District serves approximately 40,000 students with 51 schools and over 2600 teachers. Lake County School District hires approximately 500 new teachers each year. The district is very proud of its employee force of talented individuals. Lake County Schools would like to encourage you to apply for positions that you are qualified to hold. Our Transportation and Food Service Departments are always looking for bus drivers and food service workers.
