Triangle Elementary School was originally constructed in 1972. A new K-1 building was added in 2001. During the 2004-2004 school year, the main building underwent extensive renovations with occupancy occurring in January 2005. There are no students housed in portables. Triangle Elementary qualifies as a Title I school with an eighty percent free/reduced lunch rate. Breakfast is served in all classrooms. Total student enrollment is approximately 700 students according to October 2012 membership. The school is located between Eustis and Mount Dora and is in a rapidly growing, highly mobile, suburban area of northeast Lake County.
The majority of Triangle Elementary students feed into Mount Dora Middle School for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Others attend Eustis Middle School, Tavares Middle School, Mount Dora Christian Home and Bible, and Liberty Christian Academy.
