          Coach Wilson has been teaching at Umatilla Elementary School for the past 15 years and in Lake County for a total of 17 years.  This is his ninth year teaching Physical Education.  He received his B.S. degree in Education from the University of Central Florida.  He has been active in coaching in the community for the past 18 years.  He has coached 10 years at the YMCA in all sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball, and roller hockey.  He was at Eustis High School for 3 years as the Varsity Girls Soccer Coach, at Umatilla High School 2 years as the Boys Soccer Coach and 4 years as the Girls Soccer Coach.  As the coach for Umatilla, he achieved Umatilla Girls Varsity soccer its only district championship.  He was the Assistant Varsity Softball Coach for 3 years and was the JV  Softball coach for 1 year. 

     Umatilla Elementary School is committed to student fitness.  The students are tested twice a year with the Presidential Physical Fitness Challenge and last year we successfully participated in the Florida Governor’s Challenge.  Students do Daily organized exercise and walk, jog, and run.
