Students will be evaluated using a 80 point rubric that focuses on the 4 C's of Interscholastic Athletics: Character, Competition, Classroom, & Community.  Each element has categories that will be assessed during the 26 hours of intramural activities offered, these categories are:
  • Sportsmanship (4 Points)
  • Conditioning (4 Points)
  • Ball Handling (8 Points)
  • Passing (8 Points)
  • Movement (8 Points)
  • Game Awareness (8 Points)
  • Shooting (8 Points)
  • Rebounding (8 Points)
  • Grade Point Average (4 Points)
  • Classroom Behavior (4 Points = Deductions for violations)
  • Teamwork (4 Points)
  • Leadership (4 Points)

All students who participate in athletics, both intramural or interscholastic must submit a completed 2013-14 Athletics Eligibilty Packet before their first day of participation.  This is available online at windyhillmiddle,us or with the Athletic Director.  The packet includes the following forms:   Student Athlete & Parent Contract, Notification of Risk Agreement, EKG Screening & Liability Waiver Release, Physical Exam, Emergency Treatment Authorization,  and must include a copy of current medical insurance coverage.
