Modern Orthodontics Health Care Scholarship (Local)

We are pleased to announce, that Dr. Alan Wong of Modern Orthodontics would like to donate a $1000.00 scholarship to an ERHS Senior who will be pursuing a career in the health care profession.  They will choose one student who sends in a copy of their college acceptance letter along with a 500-700 word essay as to why they chose a healthcare profession and what their future goals are in that field.  Please email essays & college acceptance letter to: info@themodernsmile.com

Eligibility: Acceptance in to one of the following schools: Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, and the University of Florida.

This award is available for admitted students who have at least a 3.0 gpa and demonstrate financial need. There is no deadline to apply, but early application submission is encouraged. The SSF program's c, ost to the st, udent is pooled to cover food and utilities for the house, thus reducing each student's expenses by approximately $6,000 per year.
