Welcome to the webpage for the LHS Swimming Jackets. We are proud to announce that we are growing leaps and bounds, centered on the values of commitment, determination, and pride.

The 2012 season starts off August 20th at the Venetian Gardens pool. Practices are M-F 3-5pm. You need to complete the athletic packet before you are allowed in the pool. The packet includes the physical copy of your insurance, and a copy of your birth certificate. Most walk in clinics can accomodate you.  I will be in the cafeteria for all lunches the week of the 20th to hand out packets. The last day to turn in paperwork is August 24th. Our first meet is the August 30th at the Villages.

 

No experience is neccessary to join the Floating Jackets. Some of our top swimmers went from newbies to Regional qualifiers in just 1 year.

 

Some of the easiest places to buy cheap practice suits, googles, and caps are:

www.agonswim.com and www.swimoutlet.com. The only place to buy these items locally is at the National Training Center in Clermont. I might suggest you go and try some of their items on and see what size you need. They are quite expensive there.
