Principal
Dr. Kathy Cantwell

      We welcome Dr. Cantwell to Cypress Ridge as our new principal. A Lake County educator for 38 years, Dr. Cantwell has taught English, Speech and ESE at Leesburg High, served at the District Office as the ESE Program Specialist for Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities and has been Assistant Principal at Treadway, Eustis Heights, Tavares and Cypress Ridge elementary schools.
“To have had the opportunity to serve as the Administrator at Rimes Early Learning and Literacy Center was something I had aspired to for years,” she said. “I enjoyed the three years I spent as the Assistant Principal at Cypress Ridge Elementary and look forward to returning as the educational leader.”

Mrs. Jan Nappi

 Mrs. Nappi begins her third year at  Cypress Ridge after much administrative experience in Lake County Schools including three years at East RIdge High School, two years at the Villages Elementary School,  seven years at Carver Middle, and two years at Tavares Middle School.  Prior to her administrative career, Mrs. Nappi was a PE teacher.  She is a proud grandmother and a new runner with a goal of competing in a race in all 50 states in 50 months.
