Graduation 2010 Picture Information!
The photographers will be sending information to the homes of the 2010 graduates regarding ordering pictures taken at graduation. The information should arrive at homes during the weeks of July 19-30th. After July 30th, the company may be contacted via the information below:

Official Senior Portrait: SWI Photography is the official photographer for the THS yearbook. Senior portraits will be taken July 27-29. Postcards with appointment time and other information will be mailed to your home address (the one the school has on file) in a few weeks. Students who miss their portrait appointments in July should make every effort to have their portraits taken at the Orlando Studio on S.R. 434 in Altamonte Springs. Call the studio for an appointment: 800-226-0453. You may also make an appointment on-line at www.swiphoto.com. We will have one retake day at school in September. There are a limited number of appointments available. Students may sign up for appointments on August 24 and 25 in room, 06-222.
September 1 is the deadline for having your photo taken at the studio. After that date, only photos taken on the July picture dates and retake day at school will be guaranteed a place in the yearbook.
Cap and Gown Photos: We will schedule Cap and Gown photos for February 3rd. This information will be distributed to seniors closer to the date of the event.
Senior “Baby” Ads: There are a limited number of pages available for senior ads. Prices are as follows: full page $300, half page $175, quarter page $100, and eighth page $75. A baby ad flyer is being distributed today. If you purchase your baby ad and yearbook by September 15th, your yearbook will be discounted to $45.
Just a note about photographs…while we make every effort to return your photos in good condition, it is possible for a photo to be damaged during the printing process. If you wish to use a photo that you cannot replace in an ad, please submit a print-from-print copy or a digital copy.
Yearbook Purchases: Yearbooks are available at a special price - $55.00. This sale will end on August 31st. Make checks payable to Tavares High School. Yearbook extras are also available: name embossing - $5.00, autograph supplement - $5.00, plastic cover - $2.00.
Senior Quote and Activity Sheets: It has been our tradition at Tavares to include a detailed listing of each senior’s activities and a special quote or statement. Senior quote forms will be distributed September during Homebase. Seniors who do not complete their forms and return them to Mrs, Chapman or their Homebase teacher by the October 7 deadline may not have their information included in the yearbook.
