MISSION STATEMENT:

The media program at East Ridge Middle School will ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information in the pursuit of lifelong learning.

 
 
The East Ridge Middle School Media Center is the "hub" of our school.  Students have the opportunity to exchange books before class each morning and throughout the day. We promote reading by hosting book fairs, utilizing reading motivation programs such as the Sunshine State Young Readers Award Program, and by being enthusiastic about books and demonstrating the joy of reading every day.

Classes visit the media center often for research projects, using the computers and print materials.
