I live in Tangerine with my husband, Bert, and my two cats, Bunnie and Legolas. I lived in the Ann Arbor, Michigan, area until my family moved to Florida when I was 16. I collect thimbles and I love to travel.I was a classroom teacher for 12 years before becoming a certified Media Specialist. I have been working in school libraries for 14 years.

I love working in the library because I interact with all of the students in the school. It is also important to me to be supportive to our teachers and assist them in finding materials to reinforce classroom skills. I choose books for the library with the hopes that every student will find an enjoyable book to read. Our library has an amazing variety of books on all reading and interest levels!
