The Summer 13 enrollment checklist is now available on the DE webpage. Please feel free to make copies and distribute to prospective students and parents.

Please note, students will need to go to the link provided on the checklist (also available on the DE webpage titled New Student Orientation) to view a list of summer orientation dates. They are also required to visit this link to complete the mandatory online orientation session. They can call either campus to call and make an appointment to attend the Live Advising Session and are required to bring the completed posttest with them. This will serve as their “ticket” into the Live Orientation session.

***We have been informed that Lake County High School students are limited to 2 classes per semester for dual enrollment beginning in the fall of 2012.  Please contact Lake Sumter Community college with any questions regarding this rule.

Students must be at least a Sophomore, and have a 3.0 GPA in order to qualify to take the college placement exam (P.E.R.T).  11th and 12th grade studens must have passing FCAT scores.

Please view the Dual Enrollment Checklist found on the left hand side of this page for more information.

NEW INFORMATION!!!!!

Students can take the P.E.R.T TWICE.  If a student doesn't pass with a second attempt they cannot take it again.  At that point students will need to proceed with taking the ACT or SAT to qualify for Dual Enrollment.
