Mrs. Nave grew up in Lake County.  She graduated from Tavares High School and attended Lake-Sumter Community College.  Mrs. Nave has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech and Hearing Handicapped.  Her Master of Science Degree is in Educational Leadership.  She also holds certification in Hard of Hearing.  Throughout her career she has taught and administrated at elementary, middle, and high school levels.  Mrs. Nave also served at the Lake County School Board District Offices as Directors of Elementary and Secondary Curriculum as well as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum.   She strongly believes the solid foundation of the elementary educational experience is fundamental to the success of a student not only through their educational career but along their various pathways throughout life.
