Meet our ESE Teachers ![]() Amy Tarquine, ESE School Specialist Amy Tarquine earned her Bachelor’s Degree is Special Education from UCF in 1997. She has taught every grade from Pre K 3 to 12th. Amy’s experiences include: pre-school teacher, middle school special education teacher, elementary school varying exceptionalities teacher, Florida Virtual School instructor, and now ESE School Specialist. She hopes to begin a Master’s Program in Special Education in the fall. Amy has worked at Groveland Elementary since 1998. Her schedule varies daily but she will return your calls within 24 hours (not including weekends!). ![]() Ms. Denise Galladay ESE Clerk ![]() Mrs. Anita Navarrete ESE Teacher, grades 3 and 4 Mrs. Navarrete has been a part of the Groveland Elementary family for over 10 years. She has accomplished many things during her time here at GES. While working with the Fourth Grade Team, Mrs. Navarrete served as the Grade Chair. She served on the School Advisory Committee, worked a year as the Title I teacher, and has been a part of the ESE team for three years. Mrs. Navarrete’s most cherished award came in 2008 when she was voted Groveland Elementary’s Teacher of the Year by her fellow teachers. Mrs. Navarrete is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from the College of Santa Fe where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. This year, Mrs. Navarrete added a Masters Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona to her resume.
