  • The MDHS “Hurricane Forecast” Freshman Orientation Program is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2014

    The MDHS “Hurricane Forecast” Freshman Orientation Program is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2014, from 8:00am – 11:30am. Check-in will be from 7:30am – 8:00am in the auditorium, and the program will begin promptly at 8:00am. If you want to stay and get your questions answered about athletics, clubs, rent a locker, or purchase a PE uniform, you may do so after orientation from 11:30am-12:00pm in the gym. This orientation is for students only, but your parents are welcome to join you at our open house to meet your teachers on August 14th.

    The Lake County Student Calendar for 2014-2015 has been approved and the new 2014-2015 MDHS Bell Schedule is now available. Next year, our students will embark on a new seven period day, a new standardized test, and new more rigorous standards for teaching and learning. The Lake County School District needs all our help in MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER!

    Two Saturday AP Seminars are scheduled for April 5th and 26th to provide additional assistance for AP students before their Advanced Placement exams. This is an exciting opportunity for all AP students to participate in engaging hands on activities to assist in preparation for the exam!
