Notice: Lake County Schools will be changing the company that processes fingerprint registration. This will begin on June 1, 2013. Please do not register for fingerprints through the PrideRock/First Advantage website after this date. As of June 1, 2013, fingerprint registration must be completed through the new company’s website. The new company will be Fieldprint. A new link to register for fingerprinting will be available on June 1, 2013.
Starting June 1, 2012, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) will purge any criminal history record of five (5) years that is located in the Shared School Results System (FSSR). When the record has been purged, a new criminal history background check is required.
As of March 19, 2012 the rate for a new vendor
badge and fingerprinting will be $93.85.

The Jessica Lundsford Act (JLA) requires all contracted vendors who are permitted access on school grounds when students are present, who have contact with students, or have access to or control school funds, to undergo a screening process and meet Level 2 screening requirements pursuant to Florida State Statute 1012.32.
ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE A VENDOR NUMBER PRIOR TO REGISTRATION
If you and/or your business have received payment from Lake County School District, a vendor number has been furnished to you. If you do not have the vendor number, please call Kim Repas, Finance Department Accounting Manager at 352-253-6565.
To become a new vendor for Lake County Schools, choose the Vendor Set Up link on this page. Each business MUST have a vendor number in order to register.
To register for JLA Certification, select the Lake County Schools Security Credentialing link on this page. The cost for the security credentialing process is $93.85.
If you have undergone the screening process after July 1, 2007 and met the Level 2 requirements in another Florida school district your information will be posted on the Florida Shared School Results (FSSR) System. Therefore you will not be required to be fingerprinted again to obtain a security clearance badge for Lake County Schools. To request Shared Database Security Credentialing clearance, select Lake County Security Credentialing, on this page place a check in the box, then click "please click here" under the SHARED DATABASE and follow the prompt. If you have questions or need assistance, please call the Purchasing Department at 352-253-6763. The cost for Security Credentialing badge only is $11.00.
