  • MDHS Orientation..Welcome Back Canes!

    MDHS Orientation for all students for the 2014-2015 school year will be on Thursday, August 14th from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. Students will have the opportunity to pick up their schedules, meet their teachers, visit classrooms, and obtain locker and parking information. Information on extra curricular activities, clubs, athletics, boosters, etc. will be available in the school cafeteria.

  • The MDHS “Hurricane Forecast” Freshman Orientation Program is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2014

    The MDHS “Hurricane Forecast” Freshman Orientation Program is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2014, from 8:00am – 11:30am. Check-in will be from 7:30am – 8:00am in the auditorium, and the program will begin promptly at 8:00am. If you want to stay and get your questions answered about athletics, clubs, rent a locker, or purchase a PE uniform, you may do so after orientation from 11:30am-12:00pm in the gym. This orientation is for students only, but your parents are welcome to join you at our open house to meet your teachers on August 14th.

Next year, our students will embark on a new seven period day, a new standardized test, and new more rigorous standards for teaching and learning.
