Kim Dison has been nominated for Life Changer of the Year at http://lifechangeroftheyearnominees.com/. It would be great if you could leave a comment on her Profile page to congratulate her, support her nomination, and let her know how she's changed your life too! If she wins, our school receives $5000 and she will win $5000. If you start at their homepage, you will need to scroll through older posts to see her profile, or just click this headline to go directly there. Good luck, Mrs. Dison!
PBS Parking spots are being auctioned off as a fundraiser with a silent auction in the front office. These spots are located in the front of the school and are yours the whole year! They are specially marked and only you are allowed to park in the spot. Just think how nice it would be to have your own private spot for the whole school year. Silent auction will end October 23, 2013 at 4:00. If you would like to place a bid, please do so in person at the front office.
The Positive Behavior Support Team (PBS team) is looking for volunteers for a DYI tile project on school grounds. We are looking for an individual(s) to help us properly place and grout tiles on a wall. Please contact Mrs. Clinger 352-394-2600 or your child’s teacher if you would like to help our school with a tile project.

Two classes (Mrs. Carver & Mrs. Privitera) participated in the website www.donorschoose.org where parents, family, and friends can donate to a class for funding to a classroom project. They are using the yoga balls to increase attention span, strengthen core muscles, and improve posture. Both classes are LOVING the experience with the yoga balls. We want to thank all of those who donated to such a fantastic cause.
