The Property Control department oversees the comprehensive management of fixed assets, overseeing their lifecycle from acquisition to disposal within the Lake County School District.

Our primary objective is to ensure the accuracy of fixed asset inventories across all district sites. All inventory-related activities are meticulously executed in adherence to relevant State Statutes and regulatory frameworks.

Additionally, Property Control is tasked with handling the dispositioning and disposal of outdated electronics, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Through a structured program, we facilitate the disposal of materials via auctions, recycling, and our surplus warehouse repurposing program.

Our commitment is to deliver professional services and uphold excellence in daily inventory and surplus management operations, with the ultimate goal of positively impacting the future of all children within our district.
