The Lake County Supervisor of Elections Office announced Lake Minneola High School as the winner of its 2024 High School Voter Registration Challenge. The school registered 204 student voters this year, or about 14% of the student body. Elections Supervisor Alan Hays and Assistant Elections Supervisor Steve Hines presented Principal William Roberts with a trophy at the School Board meeting on December 9. Mr. Roberts was joined by Social Studies Department Chairman Brian Katz and senior student Noelle Schnacky, who drove the student campaign. Congrats... and Go, Hawks!
