We can’t thank our students and teachers enough for making Student-Teacher Dress Swap Day so memorable! We had a few shy ones who didn’t want their picture taken, but it was such a joy to see everyone embracing the spirit of the day and stepping into new roles with style and enthusiasm. Here’s a peek at the laughter, creativity, and community we shared.
Our PBIS event, BINGO, was a hit! Everyone had a great time enjoying a snack while playing and having the chance to win a prize. Go Gators!
There were laughs galore as we kicked off Literacy Week with various storytelling sessions. What an incredible day we had on campus as we welcomed an amazing storyteller to Gray Middle School! Students gathered around, some even enjoying their lunch while listening to a deliciously funny tall
tale that had everyone laughing out loud!
It was a perfect blend of fun and imagination, and we couldn't be more excited to share these magical moments with our students.
Celebrate Literacy Week is designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire our students and families to make reading part of their daily routines.

Interested in a STEM Career? There are 32 DAYS LEFT to apply for Lake-Sumter State College’s Health Science Collegiate Academy. This program is open to all current 8th grade students who will be attending East Ridge High School, Lake Minneola High School, South Lake High School, or Pinecrest Lakes High School. Students enjoyed our December PBIS Event, Prep and Landing Naughty vs. Nice. We watched the movie while enjoying a cookie and hot chocolate. Way to go, Gators, for earning Gators Bucks! A special thank you goes out to Ms. Claudio for preparing all of the cookies and hot chocolate.
The Gray Middle School Jazz Band along with South Lake High School Band played last night and participated in the parade today. The kids and Band Directors are so talented!
