Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are excited to embark on another year of learning and growth together. Our school community is filled with dedicated learners, supportive families, and passionate educators, all working towards a common goal.

We are thrilled to share that last year our learners excelled, and we proudly raised our school grade from a "C" to a "B." This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our students and the unwavering support from our families. Our school mascot, the Eagle, symbolizes strength and perseverance, embodying the spirit we strive for at Mount Dora Middle School.

This year, we are aiming for a school grade of an "A," and we are only 6 percentage points away from achieving this goal! To reach this milestone, we will focus on several key areas: enhancing instructional practices, providing targeted support for students who need it most, and fostering a culture of academic excellence. Our teachers will be implementing innovative teaching strategies, utilizing data-driven instruction, and offering additional resources such as tutoring and mentoring programs. We believe that with commitment and collaboration, we can elevate our students’ performance to new heights.
