This week we had two of our teachers participate in the Rock Your School Challenge. Mrs. Sadlemire and Mrs. Smith took on the challenge of creating an educational experience by doing something different for their students to build engagement.
Mrs. Sadlemire hosted a Career Carnival and Mrs. Smith integrated Toy Story into her curriculum.

👏 We are thrilled to announce the winners of last week’s attendance competition! A 3-way tie between Mrs. Nicole Johnson, Mrs. Wunsch, and Ms. Scheiderer, all with 100% attendance!
🎉 To celebrate this fantastic achievement, a huge thank you to The Little Bake Shop in Tavares for donating cupcakes to our dedicated students!
*We did extend the competition due to the storm.

📚✨ The countdown is on!
Just a few days left until the first quarter grading period ends on October 10th! 🗓️ Have you submitted all your assignments? Let’s finish strong together! 💪

🌟 Important Reminder: There will be no school on Friday, October 11th for a teacher work day!

Attention students! Do you love to sing? Do you want to learn how to sing or be better at singing? Then the after-school choir club is for you! No experience is needed and all grades are invited to join!
The first meeting will be held after school on Wednesday, October 2 from 3:15 to 5:15 in the TMS Band Room. At that meeting, we will talk about what you can expect by joining chorus in addition to handing out all registration materials. Most importantly, we will be singing on the first day! Come out for a great experience that we know all students at TMS will enjoy. Hope to see you there!

📢 Heads up, 6th Grade Parents!
This Monday, Sept 30th, we’ll be conducting health screenings for all 6th grade students. If you prefer to opt out, please write a note and send it with your child.

Thank you to those who have continued to support our school! The students love Star Bucks! Here are a few pictures of our students spending those hard-earned bucks last week.
Want to contribute? Check out our Amazon List: https://a.co/hli8AWh -- All items go directly to the students.
Students can earn "bucks" by improving academics, behavior, and citizenship. Twice a month, they'll have the chance to spend their well-deserved rewards at our school store during lunch.
Here's where you come in: We need your help to stock our store with exciting items for our students! 📚✏️🎨
