TAVARES – The Lake County School Board has approved a modified summer schedule for all district-operated offices and schools.
Starting on Monday, June 3, district offices and district-operated schools will remain fully operational and accessible to the public from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Offices and schools will be closed on Thursday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. They also will be closed every Friday through Aug. 2.
The summer schedule will end on Monday, Aug. 5, when all employees return to a regular five-day work week.
