Lake County public schools and district offices will be reopen on Monday, October 14.
We have walked all campuses to ensure we are prepared for the safe return of students and staff. We have also assessed bus routes and found the vast majority of roadways to be clear. Where there are exceptions, the Transportation Department will contact parents of bus riders in those areas and, when possible, offer alternate bus stop locations.
We recognize that the past few days during and after Hurricane Milton have been difficult for many in our community. We appreciate your continued patience and support as we work together to get back to normal.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday.
